I am going to a shoebox swap the night that I fly into Salt Lake City (I hope Southwest Airlines is on time)! This event is fun as you make a total of 43 full cards (22 totally completed and 21 will be in pieces). For my swap I have used the faux silk technique. You simply stamp your images onto tissue paper, crinkle the tissue and smooth out and set aside. Then apply adhesive (Anywhere Glue Stick) over the entire piece of neutral card stock. Spread the tissue paper over the adhesive and smooth out most of the wrinkles. Trim the excess tissue paper and finish your card!
