3-D Items, Designer Fabric

Essentials Fabric Flower

While attending convention over the summer, I learned how to make this gorgeous fabric flower.  You cut 10 flowers from the Flowers Folds XL die (largest flower).

Then fold in half but overlap it just a bit.

Then fold in half again.  It looks like a heart.

Now stitch the point together so that it is secure.

Once you have all 10 petals ready, adhere them onto a piece of felt with hot glue.  This photo just shows the back side to show the felt.

Ok, ready to start stacking more petals?

Keep gluing the petals inward and fluff the petals while adhering with hot glue.

Now to finish it off.  I added a designer faceted button.

Add a pin back with some hot glue on the back side of the felt.

The final look on my jacket!
