Blessing Mix

Every year I make a blessing mix to give to family and friends.  This year I used the Mini Muslin Bags.  I am love with these little bags as you can use them for many different gift ideas! The idea to decorate these bags came from Pinterest, I believe BJ Peters posted a photo, so thank you BJ for the inspiration!

Want to know what is in a “blessing mix”.  Here is the poem that I printed and placed in each bag:

Blessing Mix

The Bugles are a symbol of the Cornucopia,

a horn of plenty.

The Pretzels represent arms folded in

Thanks & Prayer.

The Candy Corn reminds us that during the

first winter, the pilgrims were allowed only

five kernels of corn per day because the

food was scarce.

The Fruit is a reminder that Thanksgiving is

the celebration of the harvest.

The Peanuts represent seeds, the potential of

the bounteous harvest of the next season if

they are planted & well-tended.
