As I mentioned the other day, I am starting something new on my blog. I have friends from all over the globe and I wanted to spend at least one post a week that is slightly personal and give you some insight into my life! If you enjoy what you see and hear, please post a comment and let me know. : )
Last Friday was my hubby’s birthday. Check out the card I made him here. I don’t get many comments on the things I make from him, but this sure was a big hit not to mention the gift card tucked inside! He choose to go to Lazy Dog for dinner, it is one of our favorite local places in town. I LOVE the fact that I can always surprise him by having the wait staff bring him a birthday dessert without him even knowing! I did not have them sing though, I guess I draw the line on that! : ) By the way, if you like Bloody Mary’s on the spicy side, this is the place for you! Yum!!!
Speaking of celebrating, this week is National Volunteer Appreciation, so in honor of it, I made this bouquet make from cupcake liners ~ thank you Pinterest for the DIY to give to the wonderful staff at my local Girl Scout Service Center. These ladies are amazing and so helpful in the Santa Clarita office and they deserve this special gift! The ribbon used is from Stampin’ Up, but retired (sorry)! I have been an adult member of Girl Scouts for 9 years and many of these ladies have helped me in so many ways.
I LOVE this chalkboard clothespin! Supper fun and can be used for anything. Here is a look from above at all of the pretty blooms!
Check out the sparkle stem (pencil).
Until next week!
