A few weeks ago I participated in my Demonstrator Group’s Blog Hop showcasing Designer Series Paper. This was the first card that I made for the hop and I while I love the ribbon flower accent, I wasn’t too happy with the overall look of the card, so I created another with more layers and used that for the hop. You can see it here.
Do you want to learn how to make this cute ribbon flower? I thought you might say “yes”, so I have a few quick notes along with photos to show you.
Step 1: Cut a piece of ribbon measuring 8″. Stitch along the edge of the ribbon using a running stitch.
Step 2: Gather up the ribbon into a circle.
Step 3: Tie the two ends together and snip off the ends and flip over.
Step 4: Flip it over and use a hot glue gun to adhere a button to the center. I used the Vintage Faceted Designer Button and topped it off with the Blossom Accents (2015-2017 In Color).
