White Christmas – Team Stamp It Blog Hop

Hello there and welcome back for the Stamp It Group’s blog hop ~ Christmas Holiday!  You should have arrived here from the wonderful Oksana Semenska’s blog.  If not and I’m your first stop- no worries! Simply use the back/next buttons at the bottom of this post to navigate your way around the hop.  Since it is the holiday season upon us, how about a special giveaway!  Please read all the way through this post, you will not be disappointed, I promise!

To celebrate the Christmas holiday that is quickly approaching, I used a few of my favorite things, (1) stamp set (named by our very own Tami White) and (2) the Hearth & Home Framelit Dies.  This sure makes the perfect winter scene come alive with the shaker card technique.  I stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper and then punched out a 1″ circle with a post-it note to create the moon, then sponged around it with Soft Sky ink. Yes, this is a bit over the top and one that I would not mass produce, so someone very special will be receiving this one of a kind lovely hand-made card.  Hum, now to think who is deserving of such a treat?

Here is a close up of the “snow” outside the window as well as the Christmas greens in the window box.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will continue the rest of the way around our hop!  Up next is the fabulous Siara Acdal!  I know she has something great in store for you all today!

  1. Such a gorgeous card. It definitely gave me some new ideas on using the window & stamp images through the window also. Great job & thanks for sharing! #stampitcontest

  2. Wow! That’s an awesome shaker card. It’s fun to see the car from White Christmas through the window. I hadn’t tried that set with the window framelits, but I sure will now!

  3. #stampitcontest I think there is so much that can be done with that framelit set. It is on my *wish list*. The Designers knocked it out of the park with this one! Your card is just beautiful! I love how festive it is. Lots of attention to detail and like you, I wouldn’t want to mass produce them. Very clever to use a circle and sponge around it to create the illusion of the moon. I’d like to be your worthy recipient:)
