Birthday Fiesta

Who’s ready for a fiesta?  This card was so much fun to make and has so many eye catching details from the mini pompom trim to the textured background.  You are probably thinking what thinlit/framelit was used for the stamped greeting, right?  Well, I will share with you how I did this.  Once you have inked up the greeting, use the largest framelit from Lots of Labels and once you position it, run it through the Big Shot to die cut it.  Then position the framelit on the top or bottom edge (depending on how you positioned it first).  Pretty cool, huh?

I used various Stampin’ Write Markers to color the images of the sentiment:

  • 2016-2018: Emerald Envy
  • Brights: Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise
  • Regals: Crushed Curry

Cardstock cuts for this project:

  • Pumpkin Pie: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Whisper White: 11″ x 4-1/4″ and score at 5-1/2″, scrap
  • Festive Birthday DSP: 2-3/4″ x 5″
