Cheers to Friday, friends! How did your week go? I had a pretty busy one at work and still tying to recover from last week’s conference for work that was held in Las Vegas. Here are just a few highlights from my trip.
Before the welcome reception, we took a client on a flight over the western end of Grand Canyon. We also had amazing aerial views of Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, and the Colorado River. It was such a neat experience to see these wonders overhead versus ground level. It sure gives you a greater appreciation of the life we live in.
After a quick freshening up and change of shoes, we headed to the welcome reception then to dinner at the Top of the World over at the Stratosphere. The views of Las Vegas were breathtaking as the restaurant revolves 360 degrees every 80 minutes. The food and service was top notch and well worth the cost in my opinion! Following dinner we went up to the observation deck and only spent about 10 minutes taking in the views and snapping a few pictures as it was super windy and cold!
Thursday we attended breakout classes and even managed to get some work done in the room. In the evening, we went to dinner at Bouchon over at the Venetian. We had such a fun and sassy waiter but the food was exceptional as well as the atmosphere. Upon leaving the Venetian, the front of the hotel with the canal was stunning with all of the lights!
The conference was held at the Linq and our room was upgraded to a queen suite, sure was nice to have the extra space to spread out and work or enjoy our own happy hour! Here some pictures of the art work in the room. Hard to tell in the photo below but the entire painting of the lips was sparkling.
I will leave you with this fun piece of art! We all had fun taking pictures of under the wig!!!
