Noel – Gift Exchange

Happy Hump day, we are half way to the weekend!  This past Sunday was my demonstrator group’s annual Christmas Party.  We allow 3 hours for the festivities filled with a potluck, shoebox swap, play a silly game or two, and exchange a handmade gift.  This was my gift bag this year, I always change it up, so nobody knows who brought what gift!

Want to see what was inside? I love this fun technique (Eclipse) and it was very easy to put together.  Turned out great, right?!?!  The only two items used that were not Stampin’ Up! is the white frame and hot glue gun.   My fellow demonstrator friend Sheila won this gift!

CARDSTOCK CUTS FOR THIS PROJECT:

  • Cherry Cobbler: 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″
  • Whisper White: 5″x 7″ and 4″ x 6″

Card Front Builder Christmas Ornament – Shoebox Swap

Welcome back to a new week, friends, I hope your weekend was grand!  Yesterday was my local demonstrator’s group Christmas party.  This was my shoebox swap, in the past, we would have a  swap that consisted of cards, however, this year is all about change and it was decided that we each design an ornament that would take 5-7 minutes to make.  The ornament that I designed was CASEd from Jenny Hall ~ thanks Jenny for the inspiration!  In case you are wondering about the size of the Los of Labels Framelits, I used the 3rd and 4th largest.

Coffee Cup Notepad

Happy Hump day friends, we are half way to the weekend and boy am I ready for it!  Today’s creative cuteness was inspired and a CASE by Dawn Olchefske.  This coffee cup sticky note pad was found with the school supplies at Walmart.  This sure makes for a quick gift to give to coworkers, neighbors, etc.

Window Box Luminary

I made eight of these luminaries for Mr. Wonderful’s party and I am thrilled with how they turned out.  I placed an LED tea light into each one and they sure made the tables look pretty.

These are not hard to make and here are a few step by step photos that I made using a template, but you can go to YouTube and watch the Stampin’ Up! video for the Window Box Thinlits to see how they go together as well as all of the other dies and uses.

  1. Cut two of the basic shape.  If you want to create the intricate cut-outs, now is the time to do so to make a luminary.

2. Snip the tabs off of only one of the pieces.

3. Adhere Tear & Tape as shown on one piece as shown below.  You will also add Tear & Tape to the top tab (not seen in the photo below).  This piece will become the bottom of the box.

4. Adhere Tear & Tape on the other piece as shown below.  This piece will become the top of the box.

5. Then line up the bottom piece with the top piece (as seen in the photo below).

6. Then gently, adhere the sides together and form the box.
