Magical Mermaid

Cheers to Friday, friends! How did your week go? It was a short but extremely busy one at work, glad the weekend came around quick! Let’s get down to business with today’s magical card, it was created by Joyce Boylan for our recent demonstrator meeting. She used the netting from Under the Sea dies and the fish were die cut then we used the negative piece to sponge onto the cardstock. These dies can be found on page 197 of the Annual Catalog. The mermaid was created with watercolor pencils and once dried, I did a quick brush with the Wink of Stella pen for a shimmery effect on her tail. Stunning in real life!

Pressed Petals Specialty Card

Welcome back to a new week, friends, I hope your weekend was grand! Mine was filled with a lot of errands and then hosted family yesterday. I wanted to share with you a gorgeous card made by my adopted SU! leader and friend, Michelle Halleen. She used the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape and Designer Elements (found in the Annual Catalog on pages 172 and 178) as well as the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (page 198 of the Annual Catalog). This photo does not do it justice, it is simply wonderful in person!

Simple Scalloped Note Card

Cheers to Friday, friends! How did your week go? We have been experiencing a heat wave here in So. California for the past few weeks but I will say, at least this go around, we have not had to deal with the humidity too much (thankfully) as we have some monsoonal moisture moving into the area again. Let’s get down to business with today’s super simple but gorgeous card that was created by Whitney Watkins. She used products from the Bird Ballad Suite found on pages 90-92 as well as the Scalloped Note Cards & Envelopes found on page 168 of the Annual Catalog.
