I’m Lost Without You Joy-Fold Card

I love making cards with unique folds and today’s card is called a “joy-fold”.  I used the Going Global stamp set and the coordinating Going Places DSP, one of my favorite product suites from the Occasions Catalog.  I am thrilled with how this one turned out!

  • DSP: 5-1/4″ x 4-1/4″, 4-1/2″ x 2-3/4″, and 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ – cut 2 of these
  • Very Vanilla: 8″ x 3″, score at 4″

  • Very Vanilla: 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″

Tip:

Once you have your card put together, the last thing to do is adhere the button to the top left corner.  I used a glue dot to adhere to the DSP piece and just tuck the corner under the tip of the button to secure the flap.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and what a better way to simply say hello!  Today’s card is a fun and fabulous joy-fold card.  It is a basically two intersection cards that are adhered together.  Hopefully the measurements below for this card will make sense.

Oh Snap! Envelope Punch Board Camera Card

A good friend of mine is a professional photographer and I wanted to say thank you for taking pictures of my Girl Scout troop and this is the best way that I know how!  I made a dozen of these cards and envelopes and packed them into a cello bag and tied with a ribbon.  Can’t wait to present this to her tomorrow night!  She is going to flip out!

How about some card measurements?

The base measures: 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″.  Using the Envelope punch board, I made the tab at the top (line up the left side of the card) at 1-3/4″ and punch.  Flip the card over and punch again at 1-3/4″.  Then trim off the excess card stock along the top and round the corners.  Embellish as you wish!  Yes, it is that simple!
