I made this scrapbook page to highlight my daughter’s special day in Girl Scouting.  Yesterday she received her Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn.  She also bridged to the next level in Girl Scouting (Cadettes).  I did have time to get the photos printed for this layout but wanted to share some of her special day!

Here are a few special moments that I wanted to share!  Not only am I the leader for this troop but a very proud mom!

I really haven’t used the Beau Chateau DSP too much and I thought for a quick scrapbook page this sure makes it special.  I paired the sheet of DSP with the new stamp set called Everything Eleanor.

I am trying to keep up with my scrapbooking when events happen.  I still have many pages that I made and they are missing the photos.  My intentions are good, right?!  This summer for us flew by as we took several mini vacations (La Quinta, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV).

My daughter turned 10 years old last month and it is hard to believe that my baby is growing up so fast!  I made this birthday layout for our family scrapbook album. Lauren wanted a pool party so this year and she not only had her close friends but her cousins, aunt and grandma were there to help her celebrate making it very special!

I used the Turtle & Co. stamp set as it is just too stinkin’ cute, just like my daughter!  This stamp set is this year’s exclusive stamp set to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities; $3 from each stamp set purchased is donated to this wonderful charity.

I made this scrapbook page a few months ago and entered it in Stampin’ Up!’s monthly Stampin’ Success contest.  The contest was called Parade Your Pets.  I didn’t win but wanted to share this page with you.  We adopted Sidney almost 3 years ago and I love her so much!  She is such an attention diva and loves to be held like a baby and curl up in my lap when I am sitting in my favorite chair.

Back in June I did my first scrapbooking baby shower and it was a huge hit.  You can read the post here.

At the shower in June, one of the guests in attendance passed the idea on to her mother and here I am again “the entertainment”  for the baby shower as they did not want to play the typical baby shower games!  These pages were easier for me to come up with as it is for a baby girl and I have a daughter!  Guests chose a month to scrapbook (we did the full first year).  This makes such a wonderful gift for the new mother-to-be!

I was asked recently to demonstrate scrapbooking at a baby shower.  The host and I discussed colors and theme as well as the size of the scrapbook.  I came up with an idea that they all loved – each guest chose a month to scrapbook.  What a wonderful gift for the new mother-to-be!
