Great Joy

Cheers to Friday, friends!  How did your week go?  Did you have a wonderful Christmas?  We had a good one and I even enjoyed some relaxation time!  Let’s get down to business with today’s super simple but beautiful card.  It was created by Robin Castagnola for our demonstrator meeting that was held back in October.

Here’s a little funny, my finished card is on the left and it was missing the strip of Glimmer Paper.  Not a big deal, I can always peel off the stocking and banner and add some DSP.  Her sample card is on the right, that strip sure makes the card pop!!

So Santa Shaker Card

Welcome back to a new week, friends, Monday sure comes around way to quickly over here…but then again, when doesn’t it?!  Today’s share if my swap card I made while attending last month’s OnStage event in Orlando.  My demonstrator group held an organized swap and I knew I wanted to do something fun with the So Santa stamp set found on page 23 of the Holiday Catalog.  I had sand that I collected for a project that I never got around to using, so I turned my card into a shaker.  The sand is from my local favorite beach located just north of me in Ventura, Calif.

So Grateful for Someone Like You

Happy Hump Day, my friends!  We are half way to the weekend!  Yesterday Mr. Wonderful and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary.  I couldn’t have asked for a better friend, husband, and father to our daughter.  He is truly my soulmate!! I can’t wait to see where our adventure takes us in the years ahead.

I have been on the hunt for something fun and finally found a cute pair of Rae Dunn mugs!

I CASED a card that I saw on Pinterest (from Jackie Aitken) that uses the Country Home Stamp Set, I just love this greeting!!

Hand Delivered Shoebox Swap

Hello, friends!  I have been a little MIA lately, we are still dealing with Mr. Wonderful’s health issues and I am just really burnt out with life/work and it doesn’t leave me much time for stamping.  Wowza, that was a fast weekend!  I attended my adoptive demonstrator group meeting yesterday and this was my swap card.  I love making cards that have a unique fold and this is a “z-fold” but it is vertical, I usually make mine horizontal.

Dimensions & Instructions

  • Rich Razzleberry: 4-1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5-1/2″ and 8-1/4″.  Then fold into a “z” with the fold at the bottom
  • Share What you Love Specialty DSP: 4″ x 2-1/2″ and adhere to the bottom cardstock panel
  • Old Olive: 3″ x 8″ and score at 4″ and fold.  Adhere to inside the Rich Razzleberry base
  • Whisper White: 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″; you are cutting two of these
  • Rich Razzleberry (Share What you Love Specialty DSP): 1/2″ x 2-1/2″
  • Stamp greeting using Memento Ink and punch it out using the Classic Label Punch.  Then adhere to the Rich Razzleberry (Share What you Love Specialty DSP) strip.  Adhere to the bottom of the Old Olive panel using double layer of dimesnionals (to hold flap down)
  • Finish off the greeting by adhering a silver adhesive-backed rose
  • Add a few Clear Rhinestone Jewels
